Medical Transcriptionist
Medical Transcriptionist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transcribing physician dictation of medical office visits, including incoming correspondence. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening and typing skills, with the ability to accurately transcribe medical terminology and complex discussions. The role requires strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and edit transcribed reports for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical terminology. The selected candidate will also be responsible for identifying mistakes in reports and checking with doctors to obtain the correct information. Prioritizing dictated reports based on the level of continuity of care needs is also a critical aspect of this role.
