Learn more about how we "cut through the noise" in clinical documentation at Job Description: The Medical Records Abstractor at Fourier Health is a healthcare professional whose aim is to help review, annotate and label medical records for our human-in-the-loop AI summarization platform. Please note that this is a remote, 1099 role. Part-Time or Full-Time positions available. The role requires availability to work during the business hours of 8am-6pm ET, M-F. This position pays $17hr. Immediate roles available. As a Medical Records Abstractor at Fourier, you can expect to: • Review large volumes of medical documentation, abstract key clinical data and label it appropriately based on provided clinical guidelines • Review AI-processed documentation and labeling for quality and safety • Be part of an expert healthcare and engineering team, aiming to ease the administrative burden impacting today's clinicians • Gain insight into how AI is quickly impacting the US healthcare system, and how to harness it safely and use it for good! • Receive bonus incentives for exceptional quality, case volume initiatives, and efficient turn around A top candidate for this role is: • Someone with at least 2 years of experience working with medical records or clinical data • Someone with the ability to dedicate at least 20 scheduled hours per week. Schedule is open to discussion within normal business hours of 8AM-6PM ET, M-F • Able to work efficiently through a large volume of incoming cases, meeting standard turn around time requirements • Comfortable interpreting medical records containing diagnostic information across a variety of specialities related to benign hematology and/or cancer diagnoses. Experience in other specialties a bonus • A quick learner who is excited about using new technology in innovative ways to improve clinical workflows • Detail-oriented, curious and proactive about solving challenges within the healthcare system • Technically savvy, quick to dive in to learning new systems and software. Able to communicate with IT teams and share feedback and ideas for improvement • Familiar with HIPAA compliance • Able to work independently - this position requires use of a laptop or desktop computer • Currently located and authorized to work in the United States Fourier Health is committed to providing a working environment that is free from discrimination.
