San Francisco Bay Area employees are highly encouraged to come into the office one day a week. Reporting to the VP, People, the Manager, People & Talent Operations will be a pivotal leader responsible for scaling our talent acquisition strategy and managing critical People Programs across AllTrails. This role requires a blend of hands-on execution, strategic thinking and process optimization, ensuring a world-class employee and candidate experience. What You'll Do Own, execute, and continuously evolve the end-to-end full-cycle recruiting process and strategy, ensuring an elevated candidate and hiring manager experience and superior hiring outcomes. Personally step in to manage requisitions during high volume, acting as a player-coach to meet hiring goals. Partner directly with the executive team to fill senior leadership roles. Directly manage a Recruiter and People Ops Associate, fostering a high-performing, results-driven team through active coaching and mentoring. Develop and execute strategies for diversity in hiring and build out an early in career talent strategy from scratch. Define the strategy and enable your team to deliver virtual and IRL employee events that amplify our culture and values. Design and execute a learning & development roadmap, ensuring maximum impact within budget. Build and deliver internal trainings, source external offerings and measure program success through defined outcomes, metrics, and ROI. Manage AllTrail’s global Contractor Program, supporting onboarding/offboarding, partnering with our vendors and driving efficiencies in our processes. Requirements 5-8 years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR, or Talent roles. 2+ years of management experience leading a small team within a People/HR function. 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a demonstrated track record of closing challenging roles. Strong people project management skills and experience designing and executing people programs. High sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through is non-negotiable. Expert ability to streamline People processes and leverage technology for efficiency. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on serving internal customers and stakeholders.
