We collaborate with communities, healthcare providers, policymakers, and partners nationwide to drive meaningful, lasting change.SCOPE:Reporting to the Director of Evaluation, the Manager of Evaluation acts as the primary evaluator for March of Dimes programs, interventions, activities, and initiatives. This role is essential in planning and implementing evaluation strategies that measure and enhance program impact, contribute to ongoing learning, and promote data equity. The Manager executes and delivers mixed-methods evaluation projects, collaborates with internal teams to translate findings into practice, provides technical assistance to staff, and supports the dissemination of results through reports, presentations, and publications.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and implement evaluation activities across a range of programs and initiativesDevelop evidence-based logic models, evaluation plans, and tools tailored to various contextsConduct and analyze mixed-methods data to assess needs, reach, process, and outcomesLead data collection, cleaning, and quality assurance efforts with strong methodological rigorCollaborate with internal teams to align evaluation with program goals and integrate findingsSupport the development of internal data tracking systems to monitor outputs and outcomesProduce clear, actionable reports and presentations using effective data visualization techniquesPresent and publish evaluation findings internally and externallyProvide evaluation training and technical assistance to staff to build internal capacityFoster a learning culture by sharing insights and best practices across teamsStay current on evaluation trends and apply innovative, equity-centered approachesTranslate evaluation findings into recommendations that drive program improvement and strategic decisionsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Public Health from an accredited program, or related field preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in program evaluation, preferably in public health or nonprofit settingsExperience designing and conducting mixed-methods evaluationsStrong collaboration and communication skills across interdisciplinary teamsCommitment to maternal and infant health equityDESIRED SKILLSHard SkillsProficiency in quantitative and qualitative software (e.g., SAS, PowerBI, HyperResearch, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration toolsExperience developing logic models, evaluation plans, and data collection instrumentsStrong technical writing and data visualization skillsFamiliarity with data equity principles and community-based evaluationAbility to synthesize complex findings into clear, compelling recommendationsSoft SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsCollaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solvingAdaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentAbility to build trust and credibility with diverse internal and external stakeholdersMarch of Dimes provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
