The Learning Program Analyst invests in the future of Southwest’s People by supporting SWA University (Southwest’s internal training department) with the development and maintenance of learning programs within the Learning Management System (LMS). This role also helps with troubleshooting and leading the implementation of new programs. The Learning Program Analyst is innovative and collaborates with Learning Program Managers to drive the future of internal learning programs at Southwest. Responsibilities • Applies knowledge and Customer needs analysis to create/recommend the proper solution to meet the need • Strategically evaluate long-term implications of decisions and mitigate risk related to tools and projects • Partners with Senior Learning LMS Program Analysts as necessary for project success • Gather and interpret requirements to transform business needs into actionable training requirements • Partner with Customers to create LMS learning configuration recommendations/solutions • Apply configuration knowledge to troubleshoot problems with individuals, audiences or configurations, and escalate as necessary • Actively engage with Customer business units to understand trends and potential new opportunities to support initiatives • Be up to date on upgrades/enhancements to offer Business Partners with new and innovative solutions • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Ability to work under stressful situations and manage time effectively • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet department objectives and goals • Be a self-starter and able to work with a minimum amount of supervision to accomplish assignments and projects • Ability to work effectively individually or in a strong Customer Service and/or team environment • Ability to work under tight time constraints and at times, in stressful situations • Ability to design and conduct analyses, as well as synthesize recommendations • Ability to develop, present, and effectively communicate strategies and ideas to a variety of audiences • Ability to quickly recognize and clearly define problems to analyze and weigh alternatives to proposed solutions Education • Required: High School Diploma or GED Experience • Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in: • LMS or similar tracking/management system • Training background • Preferred: Administrative experience with SumTotal LMS (Learning Management System) • Preferred: Intermediate experience in Excel (ex. pivot table and vlookup) Licensing/Certification • N/A Physical Abilities • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job Other Qualifications • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines. • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines. • Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required • Understanding of Company policies (ex: Appearance and Attendance) and expectations of SWA Culture Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $77,200 per year to $85,800 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
