As a <strong>Vice President of Sales</strong>, this individual will be instrumental in expanding our market presence through a network of relationships with finance, legal and HR executives, equity plan administration professionals, consultants, and other influencers. This individual will be responsible for growing business in a designated territory and working with internal business partners to promote multi-practice opportunities<strong> with an emphasis on private companies with an emphasis on near term IPO companies</strong>.<br><br><strong>What you are good at:</strong><br><ul><li>Developing and closing a pipeline of private companies</li><li>Cultivating and maintaining influential relationships with executives in finance, legal, HR, and stock plan administration, as well as industry consultants and centers of influence</li><li>Generating and executing a strategic, long-term acquisition plan for prospects</li><li>Identifying and helping advance multi-practice prospects with equity compensation, 401k, deferred compensation, and wealth management needs</li><li>Isolating the buying criteria, issues, and needs of respective prospects and alignment to distinct buyers</li><li>Collaborating with and motivating internal and external business partners throughout the sales process to develop a complete solution for equity plan and multi-practice prospects</li><li>Coordinating and delivering quality team sales presentations that are cohesive, compelling, and persuasive</li><li>Leading prospect negotiations in coordination with pertinent partners to gain commitment and ensure accurate and successful contracting</li><li>Analyzing sales data and performance metrics to understand the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement</li><li>Supporting local, national, and international equity related organizations and events</li></ul><br><br><strong>What you have</strong><br><br>To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.<br><br><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Self-motivated, optimistic, enthusiastic individual who demonstrates a high degree of personal integrity, resilience, and honesty</li><li>Exhibits professionalism, confidence, accountability, and respect for others with each interaction</li><li>Sales focus and a history of exceeding expectations</li><li>Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li>5+ years equity compensation sales experience</li><li>Demonstrable record of accomplishment of success in equity compensation sales</li><li>Deep understanding of the equity compensation marketplace, plans, and administration</li><li>Experience working with C-suite level executives </li><li>Possess a solution and service-oriented attitude when dealing with varying situations, circumstances, and people</li><li>Innate curiosity and drive for continuous improvement</li><li>Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to prioritize activities and adhere to defined procedures and timelines</li><li>Effective presentation skills, including the use of technology to communicate topics in clear, easy to understand terms</li><li>Willingness to travel (overnight) to markets within and beyond a designated territory</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Series 7 and 63 licenses or a willingness to acquire</li><li>Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation or a willingness to acquire</li></ul><br><strong>In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonuses or incentive opportunities.</strong>
