ORC is one of America’s most respected right-of-way acquisition firms, and they are seeking a Utilities Right of Way Agent to acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission line projects. The role involves preparing real estate documents, conducting property research, and communicating with property owners regarding right of way acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission line projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations
- Support the Project Manager (PM) and project team members
- Prepare real estate documents
- Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information
- Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition
- Perform general administrative tasks
Skills
- Minimum of one (1) year of Right of Way acquisition experience
- Active Florida Real Estate License
- Active Florida Notary OR the ability to obtain within 60 days
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
- Valid Driver's License
- Electric transmission experience
