Job title: TEMP - Data Entry Clerk, Purchasing Dept Company: Wexford Health Sources Job description: POSITION TITLE: Purchasing Data Entry Clerk SCHEDULE: Full Time, 40 hours per week - TEMP assignment, ending 4/1/2023 LOCATION: Wexford Health Corporate Office - Green Tree • Foster Plaza 4 Suite 300 - Pittsburgh PA 15220 • **This is an onsite position** PAY RATE: $20.00 per hour POSITION SUMMARY: The Purchasing Clerk works as part of a team to order medical, dental, office, x-ray supplies and any other needed supplies from our vendors for correctional facilities in a timely manner and to support Wexford Health's purchasing and accounts payable goals. • Communicates effectively and efficiently with employees, field personnel, managers and vendors. • Reviews and processes purchase orders according to company policy and procedure as well as adheres to individual customer policy in a timely and efficient manner. • Maintains detailed and organized records of processed orders and communication with customers including but not limited to: database, excel sheets, and manual filing. • Works with the facilities regarding supply orders. • Contacts vendors regarding products, pricing, deliveries, and orders. Follows up with suppliers to schedule deliveries, resolve item discrepancies, outstanding or overdue deliveries and return of items. • Scans/files completed purchase orders. • Consults with manager if quantity is questioned or if seems unnecessary. • Supports the Accounts Payable department when needed. TRAVEL: None required. LICENSING: None required. CERTIFICATION: None required. EDUCATION: High school diploma, Associates degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
