We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager with exceptional intellectual capabilities and a passion for problem-solving. This role is not about hard selling; it's about being a knowledgeable evangelist for our innovative solutions in the world of industrial automation. Your key responsibilities are:
Responsibilities
• Engage with key decision-makers like Principle Engineers and Directors of Engineering in large manufacturing companies, presenting the unique value of SDA’s solutions.
• Understand and empathize with the challenges faced in PLC environments and articulate how SDA can alleviate these pain points.
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients, focusing on long-term partnership building rather than short-term sales.
• Collaborate with technical teams to tailor presentations and demonstrations that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to position SDA as a leader in the field.

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the software or industrial automation sectors.
• Sales experience in a startup environment, ideally at a growing stage, demonstrating an ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic settings.
• Previous experience as a Product Owner or in an engineering role is highly desirable, providing a deep understanding of technical product aspects and customer needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• A consultative approach to sales, focusing on problem-solving and adding value to the customer experience.
• Ability to understand complex technical products and convey their benefits in a clear and compelling manner.
• Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, fostering strong customer relationships and understanding their unique needs and environments.
