Gheen CPA is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant - SMB Tax & Accounting Team to assist in delivering services to our growing client base.
This position is a full-time role Monday - Friday 3 PM - 12 AM Philippine Standard Time. Fully remote working from home.

Position Summary:

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for clients having 1040s, Schedule C, Schedule E, 1120, 1120S, and 1065s.
- Demonstrate ability to understand, analyze, and adjust financial statements and forecasts
- Generate tax planning and tax forecasts for clients using our state-of-the-art software
- Learn and recommend various tax savings recommendations for clients
- Be open to supervising, training, and reviewing the workflow of other accountants
Our ideal candidate:
Self-motivated. Able to work efficiently from home.
Minimum of 2 years experience in US SMB Accounting & Bookkeeping. US tax experience a plus, but local tax experience also considered.
Responsible for the deliverables of client engagements
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize tasks in a highly organized and methodical manner
CPA or US Enrolled Agent preferred and would be eligible for higher compensation than the advertised range. Philippine CPA a plus.
