The Student Records Specialist (SRS) works in a team environment to ensure the accuracy and integrity of student records upon which all campus and central departments rely. The SRS will be assigned to on one of the three teams in the Office of Student Records. The SRS will be cross trained in order to assist other teams as needed. This will enhance the professional development of the SRS. The team’s work will focus on the different areas of the student life cycle (Entrance, Active, Exit). The SRS will follow the policies and procedures adopted by the University in performing the duties of the position, including understanding and complying with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) in handling student information.

This is a full-time remote/hybrid role based in the Bloomington, MN market. The Student Records Specialist will be on-site twice a quarter working remotely the remainder of the time.

Our defined compensation structure is market competitive and is built to reward performance. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $41,700 to $54,200. We take a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including but not limited to: job and level hired into, location, skill set; experience and training; peer compensation and other business and organizational needs. This range is subject to change.
