As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our backend architecture, scaling our systems, and driving high-impact engineering and product initiatives. 8+ years of backend engineering experience
Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and performance optimization.
Deep knowledge of backend technologies, including databases, orchestrators, messaging systems, data pipelines, and more.
Track record of technical leadership, leading complex projects, mentoring engineers, and setting engineering standards.
Experience with large-scale data ingestion and processing systems.
Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment with less stability and more ambiguity.
Fluent in Python

Scale our data ingestion and computation platform to handle millions of transactions efficiently

The starting salary for this position is between $210,000 - $240,000. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
