Clicklease is dedicated to empowering small business owners frequently overlooked by traditional lenders. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting journal entries to support monthly and year-end close activities
- Assisting with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with financial reporting, audits, and documentation requests
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support accurate financial operations
- Maintaining organized and accurate financial records
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule with on-site presence in West Valley, Utah
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar
- Experience supporting audits or month-end close cycles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
