• Familiarize themselves with healthcare industry practices including AMA style and FDA regulations.
• Be detail oriented and solution minded, express curiosity and willingness to learn, and maintain consistently high standards of writing.
• Perform research and work with a variety of resources and literature to develop a range of promotional and informational pieces.
• Develop familiarity with relevant client information including strategic objectives and key performance metrics.
• Contribute innovative ideas and tactics appropriate to the client marketing strategy.
• Work with the account team to achieve the client's objectives through engaging content and effective message strategies.
• Engage in client meetings, presentations, and other client contact as necessary.
• Actively participate in preparation of materials for Medical Legal Review (MLR) submission.
• Stay up to date on advertising trends and other data regarding marketing of specific therapeutic areas.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required; or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
• 5-7 years’ experience writing for healthcare clients, agency experience preferred.
• Proficiency in digital and print design
• Proficiency in (MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, electronic workflow management systems, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects in a timely manner
• Exceptional communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated self-starter who is a team player and demonstrates a willingness to contribute to team efforts while learning from others
Summary
The Sr. Copywriter is responsible for developing creative concepts and tactics from conception to completion (including referencing) with the direction of their supervisor, researching medical data and learning to convert complex language into content that is accessible and easily understood, and support senior members of the team on their primary assigned accounts and offer backup support for other accounts when demands of primary account allows.
