Shopify Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist – Wellness Brand (3 - 4-Week Project)

We are Herbal Goodness, a fast-growing wellness brand specializing in high-quality herbal supplements. We are looking for an experienced Shopify Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) specialist to work with us over the next 4 weeks to improve conversion rate, average order value, and checkout performance. This is a hands-on implementation role. We are looking for an operator who can audit, prioritize, and execute—not just provide recommendations. Project Goals Increase conversion rate with SEO optimization of product pages and Navigation Increase average order value (AOV) by suggesting and implementing product bundle pages Improve abandoned cart recovery Improve checkout completion rate Identify and implement quick SEO wins from Google Search Console Scope of Work (Priority Order) Phase 1: Product Page CRO Review and optimize product pages to improve conversion: • SEO optimized Messaging and structure • Trust signals and social proof • Product descriptions and benefit clarity • Layout and call-to-action improvements • Mobile optimization Phase 2: Bundles & AOV Optimization • Create or improve product bundles • Recommend upsell and cross-sell strategies • Improve cart and product page upsells • Optimize subscription or repeat-purchase opportunities where appropriate Phase 3: Abandoned Cart Optimization • Improve abandoned cart email and SMS flows • Optimize timing, messaging, and incentives • Review checkout abandonment data and address key drop-off points (using Crazy Eggs) Phase 4: Checkout Optimization • Simplify checkout flow where possible & update email cart abandonment • Improve trust signals and clarity (Add trust badges) • Optimize shipping, pricing visibility, and friction points Phase 5: SEO & Google Search Console Quick Wins • Review Search Console data • Identify high-impact title and meta improvements • Identify pages ranking positions 5–20 that can be improved quickly Deliverables • CRO audit and prioritized action plan (Week 1) • Implementation of agreed changes (Weeks 2–4) • Weekly progress updates • Before/after performance metrics where possible Required Experience • Proven experience optimizing Shopify stores for conversion • Experience increasing conversion rate or AOV with measurable results • Experience with abandoned cart and checkout optimization • Experience using heatmaps or analytics tools (Hotjar, Clarity, GA4, etc.) • Strong understanding of e-commerce customer behavior Nice to Have • Experience in supplements, wellness, or beauty brands • Experience improving Shopify product page conversion rates • Experience working with bundles and upsell apps How to Apply Please include: Links to Shopify stores you have optimized Specific results achieved (conversion rate or revenue improvements) What would you focus on in the first 1 - 2 weeks Tools you typically use for CRO Confirmation that you are comfortable implementing changes, not just auditing Project Timeline 3 - 4 weeks initially, with potential for ongoing work based on results.
