Role Overview
As a Senior Technical Microsoft Developer at Workwarp, you will play a pivotal role in innovating and providing technical design and support for our esteemed clients and internal team of developers and architects. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise, direction, and leadership to the team, ensuring day-to-day activities are aligned with project goals and client expectations. Collaborate closely with developers, business owners, and project managers to provide insights on scheduling, risks, issues, and changes.
- Architecture and Design: Lead architecture discussions, develop comprehensive documentation, and design technical solutions that meet business requirements. Perform code reviews, guide the development of reusable components, and design integrations that enhance our Dynamics solutions.
- Business Requirement Translation: Translate complex business requirements into appropriate Dynamics solutions, including reports, plugins, web resources, PCF controls, custom APIs, and more. Offer user support and individualized testing/training as requested by clients.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate modern technologies to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness in Dynamics. Oversee the implementation of these technologies into our existing landscape, ensuring alignment with our technology roadmap.
- Knowledge and Community: Maintain deep technical knowledge of the latest developments in CRM technology and collaborate with the broader architecture community to ensure solution alignment with target architectures. Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you will need a combination of technical skills, experience, and personal attributes. The essential requirements include:
- Hands-on Experience: Proven experience with one or more D365/Dynamics CRM modules, including Customer Engagement, Project Service Automation, Field Service, Sales, and Marketing.
- Development Experience: Experience developing and deploying business applications using Microsoft’s Dynamics Power Platform, including consuming and testing RESTful APIs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in developing and deploying Dynamics plugins and/or Azure Functions, front-end web components in HTML/JavaScript/CSS, and knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.
- Data Management: Strong data management skills, understanding of relational databases, and proficiency in SQL language, including the development of SQL queries, views, stored procedures, etc.
- ETL/Data Migration: Experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory or other ETL/Data Migration tools.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
While not mandatory, the following skills and certifications are highly desirable:
- TypeScript and PCF Controls: Experience with TypeScript and developing/deploying PCF Controls for Model-Driven and Canvas Apps.
- React/Node.js Applications: Experience creating React/Node.js applications with Fluent UI components.
- PowerApps Portals: Experience with PowerApps Portals and creating/deploying custom App Services for APIs and Integrations.
- Canvas Apps/Custom Pages: Experience creating and deploying Canvas Apps/Custom Pages and using Power Fx within Pages and Ribbon customizations.
- Power BI Expertise: Expertise in DAX and custom visuals in Power BI.
