Job Role: We are looking for a Manual Tester with strong SQL skills and a basic understanding of compliance rules to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have a solid foundation in manual testing practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed, well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing across web and backend systems to ensure functionality, usability, and stability.
- Execute and validate SQL queries to test and verify data accuracy in databases.
- Apply basic compliance rules and ensure that all test activities align with regulatory and data privacy standards.
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, test results, and test summary reports.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and handle client discussions independently for clarifications, updates, and issue resolution.
Ideal Candidate:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong in manual testing concepts, including test case design, execution, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
- Good proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and execute complex queries for data validation and backend testing.
- Basic understanding of compliance rules (e.g., data privacy, regulatory standards) and their relevance to testing processes.
- Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – must be capable of independently handling client interactions and status reporting.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test cases and scenarios.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
