About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer - Data Entry & Supply Chain Systems, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that enable our strategic objectives and operational upgrades. Key Responsibilities
- Leverage established design patterns and standards to develop large-scale solutions for complex business problems, focusing on data entry and supply chain systems.
- Participate in requirements gathering, functional specification, solution design, and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with business needs and technical standards.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure software development standards are met through rigorous engineering reviews and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish exceptional practices to shape the engineering culture and drive technical excellence.
- Recommend new software development technologies and methodologies to improve development efficiency and solution quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues, resolve them, and mitigate their impact on business operations.
- Participate in on-call support, including pager rotation, to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
- Contribute to the development of teams' knowledge bases for current and ongoing projects, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Work on large-scale projects and programs using both Waterfall and Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of application development experience, with exposure to all levels of development - from design through production support.
- 3+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS modules, including Master Data, and Planning Suite of Applications (version 12.2+).
- Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Oracle Forms (10g), Oracle Reports, UNIX Shell Scripting, Workflow, and XML Publisher.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java and Python, with a mastery of object-oriented design and programming.
- Experience with REST APIs development, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to demand, supply, and replenishment planning solutions like O9, Logility, and Oracle VCP.
- Experience with integration technologies like Apache NiFi, Hadoop, and PySpark.
- Data pipelines development using Spark, ADF, and other tools.
- Cloud computing experience with platforms like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Working knowledge of distributed data technologies like Hadoop, MapReduce, and Spark.
- Experience with reporting solutions like Nicotra.
