We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Project Manager, to lead the development and implementation of large, complex, multi-platform technology initiatives. In this role you will take projects from original concept to successful application by defining project scope and objectives, analyzing project requirements, identifying resources, and determining the best approach for completion.Some of your important duties will include: Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plansDeveloping new approaches and employing existing plans, to create detailed work strategies, schedules, project estimates, budget management and status reports, ensuring a smooth transition to operations.Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changesDetermining and assessing requests for additional staff and/or contractors, working with outside service providers as needed to complete technology projectsFacilitating cross functional teams within OIT, customer organizations and vendorsConducting post-mortem project assessment, suggesting process or procedures improvements.Coaching, mentoring, and motivating project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work.Managing relationships across OIT, customers and vendors, cultivating a thorough understanding of core business functions and alignment with business objectives. All remote work must be performed in Colorado. While candidates from out of state will be considered for this role, the candidate selected for the position must relocate and reside in Colorado on the first day of their new position.
