We are building AI-powered receptionists for healthcare clinics and are looking for an experienced developer who specializes in automation, voice AI, and API integrations.
The core stack is Retell AI + n8n, and the AI agent must be able to handle real clinic workflows such as answering calls, checking availability, and booking appointments directly inside clinic CRM systems.
The most critical requirement is API integration with healthcare practice management systems so the AI can check availability and create real appointments.
Platforms we need to integrate with:
• Jane App
• Zenoti
• PatientNow
• Mindbody
The AI receptionist should be able to:
• Answer inbound phone calls
• Understand patient intent
• Check appointment availability
• Offer time slots
• Book appointments directly in the clinic CRM via API
• Update or cancel appointments
• Capture patient information
• Send confirmations (SMS/email)
Tech stack
• Retell AI for phone conversations
• n8n for backend automation

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain AI receptionist workflows
• Connect AI agents to clinic CRM systems via API
• Create robust automation workflows in n8n
• Implement availability checking and appointment booking logic
• Ensure reliability and error handling
• Build scalable systems that can be reused across many clinics
Requirements
• Strong experience with API integrations
• Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, etc.)
• Experience building AI or chatbot systems
• Experience with voice AI platforms
• Strong backend development skills
• Ability to debug API and automation issues quickly
Nice to Have
• Experience integrating healthcare or clinic CRM systems
• Experience with scheduling systems or calendars
• Experience with telephony integrations
• Experience building SaaS automation products

We are building a reusable AI receptionist system that will be deployed across multiple clinics.
Initial project:
• Build a working AI receptionist
