Job Summary
As a Retail Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II, you'll be an integral part of our loss prevention team, working closely with store management and district loss prevention managers to prevent loss and dishonesty. You'll wear a body-worn camera and maintain a visible presence at the front of the store, while also providing excellent customer service and supporting a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a Professional Presence: Stand at the front of the store, wearing a complete company-approved uniform, including a body-worn camera, to act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect, and respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service via a company-issued radio.
- Safety and Security: Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide, perform closing safety sweeps with a member of management, and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management and maintain accurate records.
- Adherence to Company Policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and loss prevention.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with store teams and loss prevention to support a positive customer shopping experience and maintain a strong store partnership.
Requirements and Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, store teams, and loss prevention.
- Sound Decision-Making: The ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and the protection of the company brand.
- Initiative and Independence: The ability to take initiative and perform well independently, prioritizing and organizing workload and managing time effectively.
- Physical Demands: The ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physical tasks as required.
- Experience: 0-2 years of retail or security experience (preferred but not required).
