Job Summary
As a Residential Group Home CBRF Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of your assigned home(s). This includes:
- Providing high-quality care and home settings that meet the needs of the individuals we serve
- Communicating effectively with co-workers, stakeholders, and other people
- Supporting and developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Leading the hiring process for new staff members
- Training new DSPs and ensuring effective on-boarding and successful transition from classroom to in-home on-the-job training
- Scheduling direct support staff within budget parameters to support operations and quality outcomes
- Addressing basic performance issues with corrective action, completing performance evaluations, and establishing goals and development plans
- Securing and managing client funds and maintaining accurate client financial records
- Maintaining the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the group home to achieve St. Coletta branding standards
- Coordinating client medical appointments and ensuring that appointment outcomes and documentation are communicated to appropriate parties
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary degree or certification preferred
- One to three years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets St. Coletta's standards
