We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transcription and Dictation Specialist to join our team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center's Health Information Management Division (HIMD). As a remote team member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dictation and transcription services for a variety of specialized medical reports, while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work arrangement and being part of a vibrant community.

Job Overview

The NIH Clinical Center's HIMD is responsible for providing dictation and transcription services for medical reports related to patients' inpatient hospital admissions, day hospital visits, outpatient clinic visits, ambulatory surgery, and other complex diagnostic medical studies. These reports include medical reports, pathology reports, and letters to outside physicians, as well as animal pathology dictations. As a Transcription and Dictation Specialist, you will be responsible for transcribing dictated reports and letters that contain technical terminology and phraseology from all medical and scientific disciplines.
