Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 7Seventy Recruiting is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify, research, and engage prospective candidates for public sector leadership and professional roles. The role involves supporting ongoing recruitment efforts by proactively sourcing candidates and ensuring a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
Responsibilities
• Proactively source and engage candidates using LinkedIn, email, phone, and online research tools
• Conduct in-depth research to identify qualified professionals for public sector and leadership roles
• Generate and maintain targeted candidate lists for multiple ongoing searches
• Support recruiters with outreach, follow-ups, and candidate coordination
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and documentation throughout the recruiting process
• Represent WBCP and its clients professionally in all candidate interactions
Skills
• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, research, or a related field
• Strong research, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable with proactive outreach and relationship-building
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong computer and internet research skills (LinkedIn, email, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Interest or experience in public sector or government-related recruiting is a plus
