Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Patient Registration Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Collecting accurate demographic and insurance information, as well as patient liability at the time of service, to ensure seamless billing and registration processes.
- Performing financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts during registration downtimes, demonstrating your ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Greeting and serving patients and internal team members in a professional and respectful manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Handling a high volume of calls and urgent requests while maintaining confidentiality, showcasing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational education.
- Minimum of 1-2 years prior registration experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, showcasing your understanding of registration processes and patient interactions.
