This role is responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of client accounts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting operational efficiency within the investment process.
Responsibilities
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations using systems such as Electra and Eagle
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks promptly to maintain accurate client records
• Liaise with custodians to resolve data discrepancies and ensure timely settlement of trades
• Collaborate with internal teams (Portfolio Management, Fund Treasury, Settlements) to address exceptions and operational issues
• Prepare and review monthly reconciled positions reports and sign-off on month-end holdings
• Support audit requirements, including SSAE-16 testing and internal control documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation workflows and enhance data accuracy
• Assist in implementing system upgrades and automation initiatives
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in investment operations or client accounting
• Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and investment accounting principles
• Proficiency in reconciliation tools (Electra, Eagle) and Microsoft Excel
• Clear and effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external custodians
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
