Job Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Remote Grievance and Appeals Coordinator to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required for overtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grievance and appeals, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with members to address inquiries and provide information on benefit plans
- Document interactions accurately and thoroughly to ensure compliance and record-keeping
- Conduct research utilizing various materials and navigate multiple systems for information
- Reach out to providers and members to gather necessary information and resolve issues
- Write formal letter recaps and communicate effectively with internal and external parties to facilitate case resolution
- Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Adhere to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in all documentation and communication
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Grievance and Appeals experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and writing skills
- Analytical and research savvy
- Strong organization and ability to multi-task
- Microsoft Office skills
