Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be at the heart of Walmart’s data ecosystem. Your day‑to‑day activities will include:
- Data Ingestion & Validation: Enter, review, and validate product, pricing, and inventory data from multiple sources, ensuring 99.9% accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine data quality checks, flag inconsistencies, and collaborate with data stewards to remediate issues.
- Metadata Management: Apply best‑in‑class metadata standards using tools such as Collibra to maintain data lineage and provenance.
- Reporting Support: Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly data reports for cross‑functional teams, leveraging Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in data entry workflows and propose automation or standardization solutions (e.g., Python scripts, VBA macros).
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, finance analysts, and IT partners to understand data requirements and deliver solutions on time.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive SOPs, data dictionaries, and audit trails to support regulatory compliance and internal governance.

Essential Qualifications

- Technical Skills:
