As a key member of our IT Analytics department, you will play a vital role in powering the functionality to make data-driven decisions, improving operations, and enhancing the customer and employee experience. Job Summary: In this exciting role, you will work closely with source data software teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide insights to make better decisions. You will be responsible for implementing data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, performing multiple components of the development lifecycle, and providing technical support and collaboration within a team environment. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and support analytics solutions to provide insights for better decision-making Implement data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services Perform multiple components of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, and alerting Provide technical support and collaborate within a team environment, as well as work independently Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies Develop coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 1 year of software solution development using agile, DevOps, working in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale programs or data engineering solutions 1 year of data analytics experience using SQL 1 year of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably Microsoft Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI Combination of development, administration, and support experience in various tools/structures, including scripting languages, data platforms, Azure cloud technologies, CI/CD, and BI analytics tool stacks Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of software solution development using agile, DevOps, product model 3 years of data analytics experience using SQL 2 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in Azure 2 years of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably Microsoft Azure) Airline industry experience What We Offer: Competitive salary: $25/hour Remote work arrangement Immediate start date available Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan Travel perks, including travel privileges for you, your family, and friends across the American Airlines network Well-being programs, education foundation, and family support Opportunities for professional growth and development How to Apply: If you're ready for a new challenge and want to join a dynamic team, apply now and let's discuss how you can become a vital part of our success story.
