Job Description: • Our Federal Services Group is seeking a Mid/Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join the team. • This dynamic role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and analysis of critical power plant systems. • You'll analyze designs, perform site walkdowns, and ensure cost-effective, code-compliant solutions. • Perform static equivalent and dynamic analysis of structures for seismic loads. • Develop specifications of structural components. • Support engineering design and analysis projects for the power industry. • Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions. • Gain familiarity with and application of industry codes and government regulations. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university • Professional Engineering License • Minimum 10 years’ with power system design experience • Experience working on DOE federal projects • Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired • Knowledge of discipline specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software • Proficient in Word and Excel • Familiar with the International Building code and building code design • Good writing, presentation, and communication skills • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams • Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches • Must be a U.S. Citizen Benefits: • Enjoy full benefits for you and your dependents starting day one, no waiting period • Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and alternative schedules • 401(k) with employer matching • Tuition reimbursement • Professional Engineer (PE) license support and incentives
