They are seeking a part-time Advisor - Lawyer with thorough knowledge of Delaware law to provide expert legal counsel and ensure compliance with Delaware corporate and business law.
Responsibilities
• Provide expert legal counsel, primarily related to compliance with Delaware corporate and business law
• Review legal documents
• Provide risk assessments
• Offer strategic guidance to the company
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal adherence in business operations and structuring
Skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Delaware business and corporate law
• Strong analytical and research skills for legal document review and advising on complex legal matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to provide actionable, clear, and practical legal advice
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active legal license
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Previous experience advising startups or SaaS companies is a plus
• Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and financial regulations is beneficial
