The Remarketing Solutions Title Clerk I role focuses on ensuring the timely execution of title workflows, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve title-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely execution of title workflows to meet state service-level agreements for GMF and GM remarketed inventory
- Maintain high-quality documentation of follow-ups and system updates
- Partner with vendors, dealers, and internal teams to resolve title-related delays and issues
- Research and resolve aging, exceptions, and escalated accounts; escalate to leadership when necessary
- Complete and submit auction title paperwork accurately and on time, adhering to state, federal, and company regulations
- Audit auctions daily to ensure compliance with title processes and company policies
- Make cost-effective decisions for document shipping and ensure title fees are entered correctly in systems
- Support leadership strategies, projects, and initiatives while troubleshooting system defects and workflow delays
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of lien processes, auto finance, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and technology systems such as Remarketing Solutions System and AutoIMS
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively
- Highly detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Expert critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, including financial impact analysis
- Skilled in researching complex issues across multiple systems and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data
- Proven reliability, dependability, and ownership in completing responsibilities
- Ability to thrive in team settings while exercising independent judgment and cost-effective decision-making
