BetterQA, a leader in Quality Assurance and Software Testing Services, is looking for a seasoned mid-QA tester to join our clients team. This role demands a keen understanding of both manual and automation testing principles while collaborating with a diverse team to deliver high-quality features consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute detailed test plans and strategies aligned with project goals, including defining the testing scope, objectives, and key deliverables.
- Lead the prioritization and management of both manual and automated test cases, ensuring thorough execution and coordination with development teams for defect resolution.
- Oversee testing progress, reporting on metrics, and enforcing quality standards and practices, while continuously seeking improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Guide and support the testing team, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with overall project objectives.
- Communicate proactively with all stakeholders, providing updates, highlighting risks with mitigation plans, and presenting test outcomes to inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in Arabic & English is a must.
