About the position
The Enterprise Project/Program Management Consultant II is accountable for leading most aspects of multiple low complexity projects or programs under the mentorship of a more senior project/program manager. This includes providing business knowledge, technical support, test planning and test scenario execution to successfully implement system changes. The projects or programs the employee manages have a low level of risk, organizational span, business complexity, team size, and interdependencies.
Responsibilities
• Assesses and reports health of all projects or programs objectively, providing project transparency and accurate status updates
• Prepares test plans and executes scenarios for functional and regression testing, approves project implementation and verifies production output
• Works with business and developers to ensure a common, consistent product for all states and lines of business for internal and external system customers
• Documents requirements and software defects and work with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure a quality product
• Reviews and researches production problems; determines impact of issues on the business units, develops alternative work processes until issues are resolved
• Engages appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation
• Provides direction and oversight throughout project lifecycle to meet business requirements
• Drives achievement of project or program success factors
• Coordinates, documents, and communicates with stakeholders throughout the project
• Proactively identifies, resolves, and escalates (as needed) projects or program risks/issues
• Achieves desired business results by thoroughly understanding business objectives
• Plan and implement most aspects of projects or programs
Requirements
• 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
