Equity Residential is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Pricing Analyst to join their Pricing team in Chicago. The role focuses on optimizing pricing strategies across new leases and renewals, leveraging advanced tools to drive revenue growth and enhance asset performance through collaboration with various departments. Responsibilities - Work collaboratively across many departments and functions to execute a strategic plan that maximizes value and enhances returns for every asset within the portfolio - Partner with the Director of Revenue Management to develop long and short-term pricing and revenue management strategies to maximize revenue opportunities - Oversee pricing and revenue management for all assigned properties - Leverages multifamily revenue optimization software to execute new and renewal lease pricing - Communicates and coordinates with the VP of Revenue Management, Director of Revenue Management, Regional Managers and staff, and VP’s of Property Management to understand trends and needs - Ensures accurate competitive pricing inputs to pricing model and analyzes competitive pricing strategies to formulate an appropriate competitive response - Manages pricing system upgrades to revenue team and properties as necessary - Participates in pricing report design and user acceptance testing process associated with the development of new enhancements to the property management and pricing system - Travels, as necessary to understand pricing, teach pricing at properties and regions, and to review competitive practices Skills - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field required - 0-3 years experience in pricing, revenue management, analytical marketing, or finance - Understanding of revenue and pricing management concepts - Strong business judgment - Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial and property data - Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills - Ability to plan, organize, be responsive to inquiries, and work independently as well as in teams - Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail - Must be comfortable working autonomously and multi-tasking in a fast paced environment with changing deadlines - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Applications Benefits - Medical, dental, vision care and wellness programs - Paid holidays - Annual vacation time - Paid sick leave - New parent benefits - Adoption assistance - Competitive Compensation - 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan - Rent Discounts - FSA/HSA - Company-paid life & disability insurance - Paid Community Service Hours - Leadership Development - Tuition Assistance Company Overview - Equity Residential (EQR) is a real estate investment trust (REIT).
