Remote | Full-time (Project-based also open)
We’re hiring a Picture Researcher to source and recommend the best possible images/frames for YouTube thumbnails. This role is about finding the right visuals not designing the thumbnail.
What You’ll Do
Review video titles and identify the most clickable visual angle
Pull the strongest frames, screenshots, and reference images that match the story/curiosity hook
Find high-impact facial expressions, reactions, objects, settings, and comparisons that increase CTR potential
Create organized image packs (links + timestamps + notes) for our designers to execute fast
Output: 10 thumbnail image packs per week
You’re a Strong Fit If
You understand what makes a thumbnail visual work (clarity, emotion, contrast, curiosity) and can explain your picks
You move quickly, stay organized, and don’t need constant direction
Compensation
Rate: $1500–$2000/month (based on experience)
Timeline
Applications reviewed within 48 hours
Send your portfolio or examples of thumbnail image packs you’ve built (links are fine). If you can consistently find visuals that earn clicks, we should talk.
