Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Billing Technician at Green Tree Pharmacy, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding and managing all aspects of Long-Term Care Pharmacy Billing operations, including auditing resident profiles, managing census actions, and reconciliation.
- Auditing Resident profiles to ensure payment information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Managing census actions and reconciliation on a daily basis to ensure accurate and timely facility invoicing.
- Independently completing daily audit reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Researching and resolving Accounts Receivable questions from families regarding insurance and Medicaid.
- Working closely with internal team members to ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained.
- Ensuring accurate and timely facility invoicing and adjudication/post-consumption billing.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in billing operations.
- Availability to work assigned schedule Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, with rotating Saturdays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician (LPT) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience with Framework and Point Click Care (PCC) or similar pharmacy management systems.
- Previous Pharmacy experience in a long-term care or similar setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including moderate functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, and PivotTables.
