What To Expect (Job Responsibilities) - Greets patients with courtesy and respect, describing procedures and putting patients at ease
- Administers oral contrast and provides instructions to patients under the direction of the technologist
- Practices universal precautions and maintains cleanliness of exam room
- Assists in the performance of quality control procedures and reports equipment malfunctions
- Communicates effectively with the steering technologist and ensures appointment schedules are communicated to the front desk team
What Is Required (Qualifications) - High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) - Previous experience in a similar role
- Additional certifications or training in MR technology
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and adherence to safety protocols
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and privacy standards
