Marketing/Event Coordinator (Entry Level) – Part Time
Seeking an individual to support our marketing initiatives and event coordination efforts as part time or on an as-needed basis.
This is a remote position with some occasional travel between office locations in Huntsville, AL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events, both virtual and in-person.
- Support marketing campaigns, including social media content, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Update and maintain company website content or blog posts.
- Help design marketing materials, flyers, brochures, and presentations using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue setup, vendor communication, and attendee management.
- Maintain marketing calendars and track project timelines.
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and post-event evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Adhere to company AS9100, CMMC, and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- College courses or HS diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or 1 year of equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Comfortable using social media platforms, email marketing tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience in event planning or marketing internships.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
