As a Marketing Artist, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming raw game assets into high-impact trailers, social content, and cinematic stories that inspire and engage our community.
This is a unique opportunity to blend your creative skills with marketing expertise, working closely with our community and marketing teams to capture visuals that elevate the RuneScape: Dragonwilds brand across channels. Your work will have a direct impact on how players experience our game, making this a highly rewarding and challenging role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture cinematic-quality footage from Unreal Engine 5 using Sequencer and in-engine tools.
- Extract, optimize, and repurpose game assets for marketing use, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Create polished 2D assets using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with a focus on visual storytelling.
- Work in 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max to light, animate, and enhance marketing scenes, bringing our game world to life.
- Collaborate with marketing and community teams to deliver high-quality content across trailers, social media, creator campaigns, and events, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
- Help define and uphold the visual tone and storytelling craft of the RuneScape: Dragonwilds brand in marketing materials, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
- Adapt raw gameplay into engaging stories that resonate with our audience, elevating player hype and driving community engagement.
Requirements:
- A strong portfolio showcasing trailers and promotional content with cinematic flair and high visual impact.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, including Sequencer and asset handling, with a solid understanding of game development pipelines.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Photoshop, with a focus on visual storytelling and marketing applications.
- 3D experience in tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, especially around scene lighting, animation, and rendering, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong sense of pacing, composition, mood, and emotional storytelling, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage our audience.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all media, with excellent communication and project management skills.
- Passion for fantasy worlds, community storytelling, and creating moments that resonate with our players, with a deep understanding of our brand and values.
- Demonstrable experience with live service games, open-world titles, or community-driven content, with a solid understanding of the gaming industry and market trends.
