Looking for an extremely strong AI researcher to help out on a research project on diffusion models that I am currently working on. To be clear, this project focuses on the low level architecture, math, and code behind diffusion models, rather than leveraging existing models.
This project is quite hard for a few reasons:
1. Most SoTA diffusion papers are quite rigorous and mathy. Be sure you are comfortable reading papers and trying to understand/re-derive the math behind them.
2. There's a steep learning curve. Given that we're in the middle/end of our project, and diffusion is already quite a complex space, there will be some catching up to do in an already challenging space.
3. LLMs aren't too well-versed in this space. I'm a big AI user myself, and I've tried using it; however, it's uses cases are limited here.
