Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers
- Work with the Outside Sales Team to implement and execute effective sales strategies to drive sales
- Negotiates pricing with customers, prepares quotes and submits orders
- Collaborates with purchasing departments, Branch Leaders and other team members to ensure that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
- Identifies and locates new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls
- Apply product knowledge to match products to the needs of the customers
- Gathering information from customers on competing products
- Supplies leadership with oral and written reports on customer’s needs, problems, interests,
competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments
