IG / TikTok / YouTube Production Project Manager (Short-Form) $250–$450 USD/mo Fully Remote Async - Contract to Hire

Apply Now
I’m hiring a Project Manager to run the content production pipeline for my personal brand (sales, finance, education). This role will start focused on short-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll manage 2–3 short-form posts per day from ideation to publishing by coordinating with editors, tracking deadlines, and keeping our workflow tight and organized. If the relationship works well and the system runs smoothly, we will expand into long-form YouTube content, which will come with higher pay and more responsibility. This is a fast-moving content operation with structured workflows and clear expectations. The work culture is relaxed as long as output, organization, and reliability are elite. You won’t be expected to fully own analytics or ideation on day one. You will learn my content style, collaborate with me, and gradually take on more responsibility as you understand the system. This role is fully remote and async, though we will likely have occasional overlap for communication. What You’ll Own Manage the daily production pipeline for short-form content Track all videos from raw footage → edit → revisions → final export → posting Coordinate with video editors on deadlines, revisions, and final delivery Create and maintain clear edit briefs for each video Organize content and assets in Drive / Frame.io or similar Give first-round feedback on edits before I do final review Ensure consistent posting cadence (2–3 videos per day) Responsibilities Maintain a clear production pipeline that prevents delays Ensure editors always have footage, references, and clear instructions Follow up on deadlines and revisions Catch basic issues before final review: caption mistakes bad audio levels missing b-roll sloppy exports Communicate proactively and keep everything organized. Tools We Use Slack (team communication) Google Drive / Frame.io (assets & review) ClickUp / Notion / similar task manager Editors use Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Strong written English Reliable communication and deadline management Experience managing video production or content workflows Comfortable working with remote editors Basic understanding of video editing language: pacing captions b-roll sound design hooks Nice To Haves Experience managing short-form content for creators Familiar with TikTok / Instagram / YouTube Shorts workflows Understanding of what makes viral short-form content Experience working with remote editing teams Hours and Schedule Fully remote and async Expected response time: within 12 hours on weekdays Estimated workload: 10–20 hours per week to start Compensation $250–$500/month depending on experience and output Potential to grow into long-form YouTube production management (higher pay) Starting with a paid 1-month trial Looking for someone long-term, not temporary. How To Apply (follow instructions or you will be ignored) Please include: • A short description of your experience managing video or content production • The tools you’ve used (Notion, ClickUp, Drive, Frame.io, Slack, etc.) • A 2–3 minute video of yourself explaining how you would manage a short-form content pipeline Screening Questions Please add the word “Pineapple” at the top of your application so we know you read this. What experience do you have managing short-form video production? If I send you raw footage Monday and we need 3 short videos posted Tuesday, what is your step-by-step process? What system would you use to prevent editors from missing deadlines? How would you organize content and assets so nothing gets lost? What’s one improvement you would add to make a short-form pipeline faster? What timezone are you in and what hours are you usually online?
