Cherokee Federal, a trusted partner to over 60 federal clients, is seeking an experienced Human Rights and Civil Society Research Analyst II to support the Department of State's Office of International Religious Freedom. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of promoting global religious freedom and assisting Department of State officers in responding to developments related to this critical issue.
This is a remote opportunity with immediate openings available. As a Human Rights and Civil Society Research Analyst II, you will work independently to provide support services, including monitoring unclassified and classified information sources, undertaking research, drafting documents, and analyzing events and dynamics related to religious freedom. Your expertise will inform policymakers and programs, and you will have the opportunity to brief senior officials and contribute to the development of strategic plans for outreach.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Master's or other post-graduate degree is preferred. Additionally, experience in religious freedom advocacy, human rights research, policy analysis, and international relations is highly desirable.
