Job Description
• Manage your own cases in a collaborative environment with recognized experts.
• Handle all aspects of the litigation process, including pre-litigation investigations, discovery, law and motion practice, trial, and appeals.
• Work on a variety of matters in federal and state courts.
• Engage in administrative proceedings before state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Participate in contractual arbitrations.
• Maintain autonomy over your work with ample client contact.
• Receive ongoing mentorship from the firm's partners and senior-level attorneys.
Qualifications
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in employment law and/or health care law.
• Licensed and admitted to practice in the state of California.
• In good standing with the California State Bar.
• Ability to articulate critical issues in a case accurately and precisely.
• Experience in propounding and responding to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Proficient in taking and defending depositions.
• Strong research and writing skills with a background in law and motion practice.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good judgment and ability to work professionally with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
