About The Role
A dedicated payments leadership seat inside a vertical SaaS business at a critical inflection point. You will be accountable for the full payments function and will report directly to the executive team.
This role owns the payments experience end-to-end, including product, partner ecosystem, and customer outcomes. The focus is on delivering simple, effective, and scalable payment solutions that drive success for our customers, their end customers, and vendors, all seamlessly integrated into Rev.io's SaaS and agentic platform.
Immediate Priorities
· Stabilize two active processor relationships and manage through a processor migration to achieve higher margins and partner alignment
· Establish a processor-agnostic token vault in conjunction with the migration
· Get fully oriented on our payments stack, vendor landscape, payments roadmap, and key areas of technical and operational debt
Strategic Ownership
· Own the payments roadmap, including tokenization evaluation, marketplace payments solution, AI-enabled payment operations, and interchange optimization
· Drive payments as a core lever of customer experience, monetization, and enterprise value
· Build and scale the payments function for optimal adoption, interchange optimization, and predictability
What We're Looking For
The Non-Negotiable:
Vertical SaaS payments experience at the $25M–$100M ARR stage. You've built or managed payments inside a software platform, not just a payments company or a bank. You understand how payments functions within a SaaS product and have made key decisions around payment models (e.g., payfac vs. referral, platform strategy, vendor selection and implementation), not just advised on them.
The Ideal Background:
· Direct experience managing processor relationships, tokenization, and interchange programs
· Familiarity with marketplace payment flows from the software perspective
· Comfortable operating hands-on. This is not a large company or highly layered role. This role will do the work required to achieve results
· Demonstrated experience leveraging AI to enhance performance, including implementing AI-driven workflows within payment strategies
Nice to Have:
· Experience navigating payments in the context of a private equity recapitalization or M&A process
· Prior exposure to Communications or MSP customer segments
· Existing relationships with major processors or payfac platforms
· Experience with international payments
What We Offer
· Full ownership of a payments function with direct executive partnership and board-level visibility
· A platform already processing $40M+ per month — building on a strong foundation
· Real equity participation in advance of a planned recapitalization
· Competitive base salary ($165,000–$195,000), performance-based bonus, and meaningful equity participation
· Comprehensive benefits and a culture where high performance is recognized and rewarded
Benefits and Perks
· Generous HSA employer contribution
· 401k with generous company match and immediate vesting
· Unlimited PTO
· Paid Parental Leave
· Company paid life and disability insurance
· Monthly tech reimbursement
· Monthly fitness reimbursement
· Education and development stipend
· Time off to volunteer at the organization of your choice, as well as company-level volunteer opportunities
· Clear and documented career path for your position
· True open-door policy with opportunities to give feedback to leadership on a continual basis through 1:1 sessions multiple times per year
