We're seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Head of Commercial Innovation Network. This remote opportunity offers the chance to shape our existing network into a premier product that delivers innovation support across a diverse client base, including philanthropies, family offices, and under-served institutions. As a key member of our team, you will spearhead the development, management, and growth of our Commercial Innovation Network, ensuring it meets client needs and advances our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary lead for the Digitalis Commons Commercial Innovation Network, overseeing design, development, and management.
- Conduct customer discovery to inform product design and ensure alignment with client needs.
- Lead product development, driving the creation of a scalable and impactful network.
- Engage in business development to secure additional clients and expand our reach.
- Proactively manage the sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new network members to meet evolving client requirements.
- Develop and implement network engagement strategies that foster value for expert members, including opportunities for collaboration, publicity, education, and thought leadership.
- Create systems to ensure the network can provide rapid and highly accurate placements for clients in a scalable manner.
- Collaborate with our internal client-facing team to source and fulfill client requests for advisors from the network in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary contact and relationship manager for current and future consultants in the network.
- Publicize the network through our social media presence and other communication channels.
- Ensure alignment of product development with our overall business strategy and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Directly contribute to organizational business strategy and participate in cross-team programs.
- Embrace an agile framework that enables continuous improvement for the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical field or business, complemented by 10+ years of experience in commercialization, innovation, entrepreneurship, tech transfer, or corporate strategy.
- Proven experience working in a dynamic, start-up environment.
- Strong background in relationship management with external senior consultants.
- In-depth understanding of the health science landscape, enabling effective sourcing of experts to match client needs.
- Product management experience, with a track record of driving successful product development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings with diverse stakeholders and guide multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to translate program goals into product requirements and drive execution.

- Experience in the health and healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this sector.
- A proven track record of building and managing expert networks or similar products.
