About the Role We are seeking a Food Safety & Beverage Subject Matter Expert to review and validate compliance training content prior to publication. You will collaborate with our instructional design team to ensure courses accurately reflect regulatory requirements and effectively translate complex topics into clear, actionable learning for frontline workers and supervisors. *This is a contract-based role, with scope defined per course or batch of courses. What You’ll Do - Review course scripts, slides, and assessments for accuracy and regulatory alignment - Identify outdated, missing, or unclear content - Flag technical inaccuracies or misinterpretations of regulations - Recommend improvements to clarity, structure, and learner comprehension - Validate alignment between learning objectives and regulatory requirements - Ensure appropriate terminology, tone, and real-world applicability - Provide structured written feedback within agreed timelines - Respond to follow-up questions from internal teams - Conduct final accuracy reviews prior to publication Who You Are: Required Qualifications - Strong expertise in food safety regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., FDA, FSMA, or equivalent) - Working knowledge of food hygiene, safety practices, and training requirements across food production, agriculture, or hospitality environments - Familiarity with regulatory compliance in at least one of the following areas: - Food manufacturing or processing - Fresh produce safety - Animal food or feed safety - Food defense or risk mitigation - Foodservice or beverage/alcohol compliance - Ability to assess training content for accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability - Experience working with frontline and/or supervisor-level training audiences Preferred Qualifications - Relevant certifications (e.g., PCQI or equivalent food safety credentials) - Experience with regulatory inspections, audits, or compliance program implementation - Background in developing or delivering food safety training - Familiarity with U.S. federal and/or state-level food safety regulations - Experience in multilingual or workforce training environments What to Expect: The interview process at EasyLlama is designed to move quickly based on candidate and team availability.
