About the position
The Facilities Operations Management Director at CBRE is responsible for overseeing facility operations for a large region or high-profile client. This role involves managing staff functions, ensuring effective service delivery, and aligning operations with the organization's strategic goals. The director will lead a team, conduct performance evaluations, and drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
Responsibilities
• Provide formal supervision to employees and monitor their training and development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching for staff.
• Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines, mentoring and coaching as needed.
• Assist in providing efficient and effective strategic operations, including revenue growth and profitability.
• Conduct departmental financial evaluations, including monthly revenue and expense projections.
• Ensure marketing collateral and communications are in accordance with company standards.
• Oversee maintenance of listing and transaction files, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
• Manage project resources and assess needs, conducting training as necessary.
• Guide procurement and maintenance of office supplies and equipment, reviewing vendor service contracts.
• Apply knowledge of multiple disciplines to impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
• Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Negotiate with external partners and vendors to reach common goals.
• Identify and solve complex operational and organizational problems.
• Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance management is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive and complicated information and handle problems effectively.
• Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets impacting multiple departments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
Benefits
• Minimum salary of $165,000 and maximum salary of $190,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
• Eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
