Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy web applications on AWS that meet the needs of TechOps clients
- Expand proof-of-concept and MVP projects to validate new architectures and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer requirements and derive software design and performance requirements
- Develop high-quality code, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to software development standards
- Debug existing software, correct defects, and provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Implement scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
- Work with the development team to ensure that all applications are optimized for performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug web applications and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with other teams to enhance the overall architecture and design of web applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS and web development technologies
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong experience with web development and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django
- Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure
- Understanding of database systems and SQL
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Airline industry experience
- Experience working in an airline technology environment
